Mecha Mini Minions by Mecha-Zone Mecha Mini Minions by Mecha-Zone
I made 10 of these little bad-asses and am selling them as a limited edition. Only one day and 5 of them have already sold. Approx size is 7cm or 2.75" and made of sturdy ABS plastic. Each one is a direct print from the 3D printer you can sort of see on the table in the background. These still need a little bit of clean-up. Want one? Better act fast --->>> mechazone.bigcartel.com/produc...

pearl Ex 684  plus Mr colur clear gloss = win

www.jacquardproducts.com/pearl…

Im hoping for some synergy between the slightly rough texture ofhte 3d print and the variation of size in the metalic flakes in the pigment.

I thought these were soap for a moment! They look great, though. If I had money, I'd buy one.

yeah, the material has a slight translucency to it. I have white material too, but it is really hard to see any details so I started using the only other color I have instead. I just ordered some gray and brown. Can't wait for it to get here.

ABS plastic? I'm glad I read the description for this image because my first impression was these were made out of cheese!

I so want a 3D printer and envy your strange and wonderful technology.

Huehue. Maybe you can buy a spool of string cheese and make these legit edible, because I'm already tempted. If you ever decide to do castings, definitely cure cheese in the molds :D

Get some nice gray or black. I'm lucky that if I want some models made I can just force it on Paulson Games, which I may do soonish.

(3D print a model of swiss cheese with your remaining yellow spool)

But they sure look tasty :la:
Do i get this right, they are smaller versions of your other model?

this is a smaller, less detailed version of the big model. I printed several sizes to explore the capabilities and limits of the printer. This is about as small as I would go. I could probably squeeze just a bit more detail into it.

With that size, you could make yourself some wonderful Table-Top-Figurines :D IF you are into Warhammer, either Fantasy or 40k, maybe LotR or any other of the lot, this surely is a tempting idea :la:

I'm not into table top gaming at all. I just like to draw and create. I'm working on some articulation and joint parts now so I can make arms and weapons interchangeable.
