They were in mech warrior 3 too and they were annoying to fight, and not easy to use

Very nice. As a fan of the Owens (despite all the flack I have revived for it being a 'crap design')
Love this version.

Oh yeah, the Owens, one of the only 3 light mechs i ever bothered using. I feel this is one of the mechs that has a real chance of being made in real life. If they did, they should let you drive one.

If they let me drive it, they would never get the keys back!

I always did think your Owens was the finest possible evolution of the old Jenner design philosophy, and even with Alex's great-looking semi-traditional Jenner in MWO I still like this "Omni-Jenner" the best. (If people are wondering, the fluff behind the Owens states that it's the omnimech replacement for that old Draconis Combine standby.) In fact, I think Eric Ou's Jenner owes more to this design than to the actual Jenner.

For a simple light 'mech design, it's got a lot of staying power. This was and always will be a favorite of mine, right up there with your Fafnir.

This looks awesome. Light type mech with a few lasers and dual missile pods?

I remember driving one of these in the Tesla Pod version of BattleTech. I think I managed ONE kill the whole game and got my arse handed to me multiple times.

Keep your eyes out at the cons. The old ones are still out there getting used and new ones are in the works.

I don't really go to gaming cons, but I would go if one was close enough and I had a reason or was invited. I like video games and retro stuff but not tabletop stuff. I usually attend a couple of comic or anime cons a year and I'm not sure if I am even going to New York Comic Con this year. I don't have a new book so I'm not sure it would be worth it. I have been trying to take it a bit slower this year since I have been a bit burned out.

I think someone told me about a con in New Jersey that had the pods. Can't remember what it was. That would be about a 3-4 hour drive for me so it would be doable. I definitely want to experience the pods at least once in my lifetime!
