Finally painted the mech I designed for the Gruntz game rule set. This really is a very well done miniature! Here's original concept art...

Absolutely beautiful! It's cool to see the concept in ink and the picture that shows its next step to this final piece!

Excellent job! Has he found a suitable manufacturer yet or is this one of the prototypes?

yes, the one I painted was a mass production model. I don't know who he got to make them, but they are in the UK.

How did you exactly made the miniature? Is everything hand crafted?

Hi. It was all hand crafted, but not by me. I only did the initial design drawing.

Hey Raipo. Yes, the Gruntz game rules set is available and I have heard that it is very good. This miniature, the Imperator, is also available. The mini ships form the UK so that's probably good for you! Here are some links...

This is fantastic! I can't wait until I can afford Mecha Zone 2. I've been a fan of your artwork for many years, but didn't find you until relatively recently.

Strangely enough, I haven't drawn a 'mech, or 'mech battle scene yet, but I want to. Battletech (more specifically, MechWarrior) is the whole reason I'm SO into 'mecha. I have been a fan of 'mechs since I was in elementary school. I am now 33.

Hi there, Joe. I'm 39 so we aren't all that far apart in age. I remember discovering Battletech in junior high and loving that, but I was into some of the Shogun Warrior stuff and Star Wars before that.

I looked at your gallery and you have an abundance of skill so I'm sure you'll do great at drawing mechs! I never draw battle scenes because it takes sooooo long. I just don't have the time.

If you are interested, I actually have a really good combo deal for Mecha Zone 1 and 2 that saves you about $5 per book. It's what most people buy. Just an FYI, I sign all books sold through my bigcartel store, but I don't sign the books I sell on Amazon.

And did you see my book video? I've been trying to get it around as much as possible.

Wow, your art captured the feel of Battletech so well that I thought you were behind it all! Either way, your art is awesome. I am definetally interested in your books, but it may take me a bit to save up for them. Not that they are that expensive, rather that money is tight. ^_^

Truly, I appreciate that you visited my gallery, and moreso that you enjoyed my artwork! Thank you for your complement.

I definately understand the time involved with the battle scene. Just doing my regular work takes me longer than I'd like it to. Due to the time factor, I may only draw one, but I will because it has been a goal I've had for years.

As for your book video: Yes I have, and it is very cool! I love 'mecha with miniguns and the A-10 is my favorite airplane, so I enjoyed that one the most.

Nice work, however, you could have done a little bit more highlighting and shading. Other than that this is some gorgeous looking mean mech-machine... :)
