also: how dod you do those greys? considering this is traditional media, i am curious, it looks almost digital. and this particular style would look great on the comics i hopefully will start doing someday.

the line drawing is traditional pen, but the shading is digital.

you can get basically the same effect with gray markers.

looks pretty awesome, only detail that bugs me is the balance. look at the SIZE of that cannon. firing that thing would deal HUGE recoil. that much recoil on top of a standing, bipedal structure? not a good idea. not to mention that it has a massive target profile, and a high center of gravity that would make it vulnerable to being rammed sideways.

but heck, chances are everyone would run away soon as they saw this beast incoming. it looks TRULY intimidating, if not terrifying.

Interesting mech. What are it's weapons capabilities? Was this (done) for an RPG manual?

Personally speaking - your own stuff is a lot better - lot more proper in design.

Could teach the peeps who do BT a few pointers.

Hey, thanks. I like my stuff more as well. I do a lot of art for the Battletech people but I have to do what they tell me to do so things don't always look the way I think they should. Oh well, at least I get paid to draw mechs!
