Border Break Model WIP by Mecha-Zone Border Break Model WIP by Mecha-Zone
This is one of the Cougar variant mechs from the "Border Break" series of models. The models are based on an arcade game of the same name.

Last night I painted the head and torso. Experimented with doing a wash for the first time to make it look worn and dirty. I like the results for a first attempt. I did manage to mess up part of the back and I will have to re-paint it :(

Took this picture with my I-phone 4 and the HDR Fusion camera app.

Ah so you settled for this one. Excellent choice! Nice work so far.

I really wish Border Break would get a translation. We're missing a lot of Virtual-Onish stuff lately.

I've never heard of this series before... I can't help but look at it and this "Halo: Reach", not that that 's detracting from it any...

whats the scale? and I have to say, it looks amazing, you should check out a website called Dakka Dakka for paint jobs, it's not all mechs and stuff, but miniature models. But you could use the same kind of techniques to paint larger models

that's not bad, average model size, but it looks awesome. the yellow painted bits need a bit more of a coating its very washy, and not in a good way :P

This picture makes it look huge for some reason. Interesting though, looking good do far. I always use paint washes though I drybrush a little of the original color for contrast.
