Sort of reminds me of the original Zeon fighters/AWACS... though in a good way as those had some horrid design choices.

I love the update. The folding wings were always neat.

I was always a little disappointed that the games didn't let you play with aircraft. Plodding about in an Atlas is one thing, but using a dropship as a gunship sounds even more fun.

That's where people like the good folks at MekTek come in, if only they'd get the idea to do it, and the time to carry the idea out. Already they've got new Jump Jets in the works that will let Mechs literally fly around, and one video they showed of those in action showed the Mech in question fighting dropships.

I would like to see a pure-assault dropship that trades carrying capacity for godlike firepower. There's really no stopping that gracefully.

In one fanfiction I read, people modded a Leopard, taking out the mech-bays and turning it into a pure gunship. If they put that in a game, it would be quite the sight to see.

At one time I read about a certain type of dropship that was fitted out as you describe, but with a very light complement of anti-capital weaponry. Some were even disguised as commercial ships. I believe this is called a 'Q-ship'.

Well, here's hoping they put one in a game, then.

The upcoming MW5-

"Echo, Saber Lead, We're moving up the main road, Davion resistance so far is light"

"Roger Saber One, proceed into the spaceport, link up with us at the ATC. Third company is making its move on the Davy HQ."

"Copy... Hang on Echo...

"Saber...?

"Gunship! Gunship! Saber three is down! Saber lance, fall- *static*

Is that actually from the game/trailer for the game? If so, awesome; if not, it should be.

Thanks for uploading this so fast. It was a lil disappointing to see it only in thumbnail-size on the record sheet in Golden Century. First really badass looking Chippewa and first time a IIC-model looks better than the original one...I think.

Thanks! I only uploaded it because someone else asked and explained why (because of small image size). I'll get back the to the TRO 3085 images now.

Cool. The Quicksilver Mongoose has the same small image only too...but I prefer Mechs anyways. ;)
Doesn't matter to me in which order you upload your works. Looking forward to the TRO3085 ones and the four of Golden Century...sans that raster.:)

You can find the full scale image of that ship in TRO 3075. Its the Du Shi Wang class battleship.

Ah, thanks. I just checked it. Right, even the fluff says that the Jasmine Liao was later renamed to Quicksilver Mongoose. Guess I am just to much into Mechs mainly to pay attention on what the navy has, lol.

Well the only Art of it in that book that I'm aware of is the little pic on the the record sheet, as the book did not have a TRO write up for it.

It's worse, it's actually the Chippewa IIC, A Clan tech bird of the old Chippewa. So all thoughs weapons you listed are Clan tech weapons, it also has a Targeting computer. It also has Armor something the Original was a bit lacking in.
