Archangel Mech Sketch by Mecha-Zone Archangel Mech Sketch by Mecha-Zone
A level 1 sketch commissioned by a fan of the Battletech Archangel mech. I guess he didn't like that Atlas very much ;)

My god that looks amazing! I really got an awesome retro vibe from the sketches in your deviantart pages.

One question: Are you open for commissions? I'm designing a Print-to-Play mecha board game and I'm in dire need for some filler art for machines in the manual.

Hello. I may soon be open for limited commissions. I have some free time coming up in a couple of weeks and need to fill the gap. You can e-mail me with the info if you are still interested and i can give you a quote for time and price. dwhite@mechazone.com
Thanks for inquiring!

What exactly do you mean by a level 1 sketch?

On the rare occasion that I take commissions, I offer different price levels based on detail and difficulty of the drawing. I used to have a chart explaining it, but it it got automatically removed from my profile page when my premium membership expired. That chart also listed my status. I haven't been accepting commissions for over a year.
Level 1 is just a basic pen drawing of an existing mecha design with no background (or extremely minimal) and a level 3 is an original design finished to professional, full-color level.

Pretty smart way of breaking it down

A speedy Archangel? Lies! Lies and deceit! Still nice to see the ret blades in action though I doubt an Atlas II's head would come off that cleanly.
