Predanaut Action Figure by Mecha-Zone
Predanaut Action Figure
The Predanaut Fang is the loathsome enemy of the heroic Mechanauts. This is the first in a series of enemy figures that I'll be releasing over the next few months including the Pterror Trooper and Commander. I'm also releasing a new set of 4 Mechanauts with some accessories.
You can pre-order them and see a lot more photos here ---> mechazone.storenvy.com/

Hey everyone, sorry for being absent for so many months. I got a 3D printer and I've been obsessed with it. I've been making a lot of custom toys and I've also been trying to sketch more. I participated in the October "Inktober" sketch event on Instagram. I had a BLAST. I'll be participating in the MARCH of ROBOTS sketch event that starts tomorrow and I'm really excited about that! It's also on Instagram. Here's a link to my profile so you can check out my daily drawings... instagram.com/mechazone or you can search for the hashtag #marchofrobots

I will be selling a limited number of my 3D printed mecha toys next weekend. This mecha is called the Hammerhead. It's a fully articulated 2.5" action figure. Each figure is made on my printer and finished by hand. They are made of ABS plastic. Here's a link to my store if you want to check out more details and pricing. mechazone.storenvy.com

Hey man, I really enjoy your mechs and they are simply amazing. I was wondering if you ever did commissions for reference sheets?

Can I suggest the mechs of the PC FPS game Hawken as subjects for future projects? More power to you, sir!

A toy reviewer  ( Vangelus ) reviewed the Predanaut and it looks great! I might buy one if I have the money to spare.

Yes, I sent Vangelis a review copy. He liked the Predanaut so much that he immediately bought a Mechanaut Soldier, both my art books, and a couple of my mini robot toys (that are now sold out). I thought it was a great review and very valuable for me to get his opinion since he handles so many toys.
Thanks for watching the video and I'm sure you won't regret buying a Predanaut if you get one. I have 5 left right now. I'm working on my next toy release, the Mechanaut Biologist. Oh no, thank you! I was drooling over your comics on the Glyos site and came over to DA to see what else you had to show. You have a terrific style. I'm trying to motivate myself to draw some comics for my Mechanaut and Predanaut toys and your work has been very inspiring. I have been drawing comics for LEGO magazine for almost 10 years but I don't show any of that here. The LEGO comics are a chore to complete, but I think I'm going to develop a style for my own comics that is a bit more retro looser. Something that still looks good (hopefully) but doesn't take so damn long.

wow, super nice of you to say that!!
Matt is super kind of me playing arround with the styles and it was sure to that, that i kinda ended with this 'new' loose style. Was drawing alot with a brush to make it all look this kind of retro-y-professional oldschool comics but somewhen i kinda was missing the fun in doing it this way. I somehow ended up with a stash of old 60/70ies Last Gasp comicbook titles with lots of inspiring 'amateur' comics, and so i just purchased the cheapest fineliners i used back in my youth when i tried to ape Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld and go a more stylish style route and it's lots of fun drawing again. It's more like trying to let stuff look cool and not anatomically right. Wish you best of luck for the personal comics!
